Andrew was raised on the banks of the Yellowstone River in Livingston, Montana and has maintained a broad-based civil practice throughout Montana for nearly 30 years, with substantial trial and appellate experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, insurance and employment law.  He is admitted to practice before the Ninth and Fifth Circuit, Montana Federal Court, and the Montana Supreme Court.  He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Montana Trial Lawyers and the Montana State Bar.  Andrew was inducted into the Texas Lawyer Hall of Fame for obtaining one of the highest Texas jury verdicts in 2010.

Some of Andrew’s reported cases include:

  • Gibby v. Noranda Minerals, 905 P.2d 620 (1995) ($1.3 million jury verdict) (associate trial counsel and lead appellate counsel)

  • Oberson v. United States Dept. of Agriculture, 441 F.3d 703 (9th Cir. 2006) ($11.3 million judgment)  (lead trial and appellate counsel)

  • Bohnsack v. Varco, U.S Dist Ct., S.D Houston, CV H-08-1481 (2010) ($8.1 million jury verdict) (lead trial and appellate counsel)

Andrew lives in Missoula with his son Matthew and is an avid mountain biker, skier, golfer, musician and community supporter.
